Collusion

Beware of people who team up to scam you. One tactic is good cop bad cop. One will initiate the con and the other will do something like warn you about the nefarious nature of the other. Something like "Joe Schmoe isn't real. He's not a real artist." Then they go on to tell you about their art and then, you got it, they pitch their con.
